WOOOW what an eventful day it was today:P
Today was all about Sion(Zion), Switzerland. We traveled around the Old town and hiked up the streets to pretty much the highest top of Switz, well maybe not the highest :P
It was a good exercise though:)
We reached to the top to go to a Cathedral church, Valere Basillica for an organ concert and the sounds of the organ were beautiful. My favorite song they had played was the Renaissance song. Organs are large and small circular tubes. The smaller the louder and more higher pitched sound and the larger is the long and slower sound, very cool.
Then we had a lovely lunch on the hills of Sion and took pics:P my uncle and aunt and cousin Piper went to a museum filled with agent artifacts from caveman days to the Roman days. It was very cool seeing all the weaponry, how it was different each decade and seeing Switzerland transforming from all the back in like 500 bc time till now. It was incredible that Switzerland still has some of those old buildings today. CRAZY!
Also we went to an Art Festival today, super fun:)I enjoyed looking at all the different art on the buildings, the food was good:) and watching all the street performs was a fun time. They're some interesting performers out there today but each one has its own character which makes it more entertaining.
Oh and one more fun and hilarious event happened today...as we were all on the train heading home, there was at least 30 French men drunk on the train singing and talking to us. It was very funny. They did not know any English so my uncle had to translate and he even said they didnt know what they were talking about. It was a good time, if you were there you would have known how funny it was...anyways off to bed my roomate seems to be having trouble sleeping, opps :P haha
night everyone! hope you guys are likin the blog:)

Day 3,4,5
D3=Lord Byron and Chateau de Chillon---this day we went to the awesome Olympic Museum. It was very cool. All the neat sculptures and photography was amazing loved it!!! The theme for the museum of the year was Heros. I loved seeing all the old clothing from back then, what the athletes had worn and now today in our society its very different yet there are some similarities.
Also we visited the castle of Chateau de Chillon. Very beautiful inside and out!!! We journeyed our way on Lake Geneva and this castle is actually one of the main highlight of Switzerland. This castle used to be a prison. It was a good and sunshiney day:)
D4=KKL(culture and congress hall), Dyion Lion Monument---Now the Dying Lion Monument was incredible. Its a sculpture of a dying lion...hence...and it is in Luzern, Switz. This was carved out of wall of sandstone rock. This monument was designed and dedicated to the memorial for the mercenary soldiers from central Switzerland who had lost their lives while serving French King Louis XV1 during the French Revolution.
If my mom had seen this her impression would have been unhappy:( shes a leo and loves lions.
Anyways the boat ride was fun and didn't rain towards the end of the day so not bad at all:P
D5=well this morning i woke up and was very tired from these long days of traveling we are doing, but i ate a good breakfast, built up energy and was on my way for another fun and exciting adventure:)
Today we went to Nyon, Switz and Yvoire, France. FRANCE!!! WOW I went to 2 countires today!!! France is just right across from Switzerland. Just take a boat ride there:P In Nyon we went to a cool museum called Leman Museum. It was about life guarding and fishing and all the water events and such that happen in Switzerland. The Red Cross(life guarding) is actually located in Switzerland. Their was a lot of neat facts, documents, videos and objects they used for water. Very cool:)
Then we went across to France!!! The city of Yvoire is this pretty old town filled with beautiful flowers everywhere. Their was a fun shopping area, all the little shops filled with different things such as clothes, jewelry made by hand, pottery, and the food was deeeelicious:) had a panini, sweet crepe:) anyways we also sketched the castle that was in Yvoire. Very very beautiful, just the architecture was amazing and i love how old and medieval it looked like. All the castles I've seen are unique in every way. I am going to live in a castle and I am going to build and decorate my castle ooohhh beat that:P haha
soo check out my pictures i updated some more:) I will be updating more and more pictures everyday so you guys will not miss out on the Switzerland culture and beauty:)
GO SWISS!
